MEIn an effort to use dA more frequently... Hi!
Tuesday, I attended the John Carpenter Live Retrospective on behalf of Crypticon Seattle. My photo pass was an unexpected bonus and never having shot in such a large, historic theatre before, I felt underprepared even with knowledge of the rules beforehand. I had brought a longer lens, but in last minute anxiety, I left it in my seat with my husband and didn't use it because of my movement limitations. I felt bulky, in the way, and so nervous to be shooting the most famous person that has ever graced my viewfinder. So after all those nerves and effort, I came away with photos that I found to be
Haven't logged in for awhile! I have lots of new photos to share so have no fear!
On another note, I need to update my profile and will probably change my username from 'Louliepoops' to 'Louise Groom Photography'
So,
Just wondering if I could have some advice from photographers who use a canon DSLR.
I currently have a Canon 500D and am looking into buying a bigger zoom lens (currents lens -18-55mm and 55-250mm). I'm into wildlife, nature and equine. I'm looking at either the canon 100-400mm or the canon fixed 300mm lens with a tele-converter as I have heard this is sharper and better quality than the 100-400m.
I'm also looking to upgrade my camera to a newer one in the next year - yr 1/2
So yeah was just wondering if anyone has any camera advice and things ?
Thanks :)
